This is a 38 minute documentary designed to give law enforcement officers the understanding and tools necessary to successfully investigate instances of human trafficking, so that the 'right' people, those perpetrating slavery, go to to jail, and the victims get the help they need. Law enforcement officials and prosecutors from six states, and a survivor turned advocate, Beth Jacobs, share what works and what doesn't in fighting this issue, while stressing the need to change the current culture within the criminal justice system to one that is 'victim-centered'.
I loved being a part of this. I really think it will do some good.
